RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE
For best results, install GSWF PPF in a clean, dust-free environment at a temperature between 72°F–80°F. Avoid working below 70°F as the adhesive performance and film pliability may be compromised.

For best results, install GSWF PPF in a clean, dust-free environment at a temperature between 72°F–80°F. Avoid working below 70°F as the adhesive performance and film pliability may be compromised.
Wash the vehicle thoroughly. Remove all wax, silicone, or polishing residues with appropriate industrial cleaners, then do a final wipe-down with isopropyl alcohol and dry using a hot air blower. The surface must be clean, smooth, and residue-free before film bonding.
Measure each panel and cut the film with an extra 10 cm (4 inches) margin to allow for tensioning and repositioning during installation. Always use film from the same batch to ensure consistent bonding and visual performance.
Mix a pH neutral soap solution (1-3 mL per liter of water, or installer’s preference) and a gel slip solution. Spray both the panel and the adhesive side of the film to enable proper alignment and slip during installation. Only clean distilled water should be used as the tack solution where firm adhesion is required.
Remove the liner and place the adhesive side of the film onto the wet vehicle panel. Stretch and reposition as needed for full surface coverage. For complex curves or tight contours, use a steamer or warm water to make the film more flexible.
Spray the film surface with slip solution to lubricate it, then use a PPF squeegee held at a 45° angle to remove all liquid and air. Start from the center and work outward using overlapping strokes, applying consistent pressure.
After applying the film, trim excess using a sharp carbon steel blade. Tuck the edges using a PPF glove or squeegee. For curved surfaces, apply heat or allow the edges to dry, then press firmly to lock down the film without wrinkles or lift.
Check all edges, seams, and corners for trapped air or moisture. Reheat and reapply pressure with a squeegee or glove where needed. Bonding strength should be verified 24 hours later, and any issues addressed before delivery.
